From all of the research that we have done, we have never found anyone who has studied to see if Monoamniotic (Momo) twins can run in families. Kind of like being struck by lightning, right? We have found a set of Momo twins born in the last 3 generations of our family. We have created this blog in the hopes that someone will be able to help us find out more information. We also would love to hear your stories and experiences, especially if you have Momo twins that run in your family.

Monoamniotic Twins, trying to find a genetic connection
We (Hannah and Lucy) are Monoamniotic twins. From all of the research that we have done, we have never found anyone who has studied to see if Monoamniotic (Momo) twins can run in families. We understand that the chance of having Momo twins is rare, kind of like being struck by lightning. However, in our family, there has been a set of Momo twins born in every generation on one side of our family. In fact, in our parents' generation, there are two sets of Momo twins born. We have created this blog in the hopes that someone will be able to help us find out more information. We also would love to hear your stories and experiences, especially if you have Momo twins that run in your family. Please leave comments to this post so we can add your stories.
